Trip 19

We just returned from our 19th mission trip to Nicaragua. This time, we took a small team from our home church, Graceland Baptist in New Albany, Indiana.

The team ministered to over 1000 children, providing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to 500 and a fresh cooked meal to about 200. All heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Glory to Glory also continues it's weeking feeding programs for 225 children.

On this trip we also finalized the purchase of two lots and met with a contractor concerning the building of a mission house. We will return to Nica soon to continue these plans and building.
The photo is Eddy, who found us in a public area one afternoon. Richard has his shirt that says, Yo Soy Favorito De Dios. Eddy asked about it and ended up accepting Jesus as his savior. He also came to church that night where Richard introducted him to the Pastor who promised to follow up.

April 09 Trip

This trip the Lord provided many blessings.

We provided a hot meal for over 300 children and gave them flip flops, caps and buckets for their food. The picture shows one of the little ones receiving his cap, and you can see the new flips on his feet.

A conference for pastor's wives and another for the pastor's themselves was held in Corinto.

We also held our 1st annual Partnerships in Vision confenence in Chichigalpha. This was a meeting to encourage and empower pastors and churches to get involved in children's ministry.

In the evenings we had either a church service, youth group meeting or leadership meeting. All were a great blessing.

Our next trip is June 4 ot 5. We will be taking a team then.

Nicaragua Mission Trip #17

We will leave January 31 for our 17th trip to Nicaragua. At present we are feeding 120 children in the Leon area, and providing Bible lessons as well.

On this trip, we plan to partner with a ministry in Chinandega to feed 250-300 children, three times a week. We are also taking along over 160 New Testament lessons for the sites.

For the first time, our agenda includes time in Rivas. We look forward to leading Servant Evangelism and Healing seminars in the mornings, door to door evangelism and school visits in the afternoon and evening church services.

Please ask the Lord what you can do to help !

October 08

We just returned from our 16th mission trip to Nicaragua.
On this trip we formed a partnership with a church in Leon to feed children at two different sites. Finances were left to continue the program through February.
We purchased 82 chairs and 7 large tables for the sites as well as providing materials for a small shelter house.
With the help of our home church, Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, we were also able to put the roof on a new church we helped plant some time ago.
As usual we conducted leadership seminars and evening services and we gave 250 pairs of shoes to needy children. For the first time we prepared hot meals and served them to over 500 little ones.
120+ professions of faith in Jesus Christ as savior were witnessed and will be followed up by local pastors.
The photo shows a father and his four children, all prayed to receive Jesus as savior after one of our servant evangelism seminars as we went into the residential areas.
Thank you for your prayers and support.

Trip 15

This young man was one of 250 who made professions of faith during our June mission trip to Nicaragua.
We were able to give food for at least a week to over 500 families as well as leave food for 4500 hot children's meals.
More than 500 New Testaments, 100+ Bibles and many of John's gospels were also given. We also left 5400 tracts with a local ministry.
Jo Ann and Richard were able to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ during a one hour television program called, "New Life." The program was sent to over 100,000 homes in the departments of Leon and Chinindega.
We are currently planning a trip for September or October and it looks like we will take another team in November.
We invite you to contact us about becoming a partner in this growing ministry.
